Millions of women suffer with painful menstrual cramps immediately before or during menstruation. For some women, the discomfort makes it difficult to perform normal household, job, or school-related activities for a few days during each menstrual cycle. If you are one of these women, you may be eligible to participate in a research study of an investigational pain medication for the treatment of menstrual pain.

As a study volunteer, you may receive study-related exams and lab tests as well as study medication at no cost to you. Throughout the course of the study, you will be carefully monitored by our experienced medical research staff to make sure that your pain does not become intolerable. Financial compensation may also be provided for your time and travel. The studies may last from 1-6 months with up to 9 scheduled visits at one of our clinic locations over that time, depending on the study. To pre-qualify for most of our menstrual pain studies, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be 18-35 years old
- Have regular menstrual cycles
- Have history of moderate to severe pain
